In a story as old as time itself, young men with loser fathers attempt to compensate for their lack of a healthy masculine identity by pretending to be some kind of scary bad ass. In truth, nobody else (especially women) thinks sigma males are scary bad asses, or that even attempting to be a scary bad ass is admirable or useful; they rightfully see through the bullshit to observe the truth: that this man is totally lacking in basic social skills, is a selfish asshole who doesn't care about other people, and would probably be a loser father like his father before him.
