is a funny saying people use when talking about an old-school teacher who might have been a bit ancient and told the same stories every year, but was genuinely kind and cared about his students. He might have been strict or a little grumpy on the outside, but everyone knew he had a good heart and made class memorable with his weird jokes, strange activities, or legendary moments like the so-called “Briggs Bombers.” Even after he left the school, students still bring him up years later with a smile, using the phrase as a way of remembering a teacher who was old, a little chaotic, but impossible to forget.
