Japanese animation. Shows of the Gods. Often times heavily action- and comedy-based, with humor either dealing with extreme misunderstandings or semi-perversion.

Bleach, Code Geass, and Soul Eater are all great examples of anime. Isshin Kurosaki, Ichigo's dad in Bleach, is hilariously overdramatic, acting the foil to many real parents, and often wondering how attractive the girls Ichigo befriends are.
