Epilepsy Dance

A common term for an unnamed dance style made famous by singer-songwriter Ian Curtis. The dance consists of wild, rapid arm movements along with a spasm-like jittering of the body; somewhat reminiscent of a grand mal seizure which is where it gets it's name from.

Ian Curtis was famous for his "epilepsy dance" during his on-stage performances with post-punk band Joy Division.

A promiscuous dance performed by females who wear ridiculous high-heeled shoes that do not permit them to move their feet and thus force them to dance on the spot bobbing up and down.
