Music genres like Gorillaz and MCchris, and Lika MC usually define techno-rap. Blondie has started this genre with her hit 'Eating Cars' lyrics to the song Rapture. This genre gained popularity in the 80s. Certain songs from groups such as the Pixies or bands like the Pil can be defined as techno rap as well.
