Why did "take out the trash" get replaced by "DO THE TRASH"?

It's a question often asked on Music forums or boards asking wether you should Buy an album, as in go out and cop it. Download an album, as in go out and get it off the internet. Or trash an album as in don't even bother with it.

I'm not sure about this album should I Buy/DL/Trash it?

Another way of saying that you are in the process of vomiting or have to vomit

Example 1:

Girl 1: Hey, have you seen my friend?

Girl 2: Yeah, she's had one too many and is currently busy making out with her trashcan.

Example 2:

Guy (with shit breath): Damn, girl, you're HOT!
