scene boys:
-Tight pants or 3/4 pants (3/4's mostly camo)
-Likes techno and rap but also likes genres like screamo, hardcore and grindcore.
-theres many different hair styles:
spiked at the back and long fringe
flat hair, big fringe
Box/block fringe (straight across eyesbrows or eyes.) longer at the sides.
-has myspace, doesnt always have thousands of friends, but those who do join myspace trains (aesthetic perfection is popular these days)
-arent always gay or bisexual, some of them dislike gays/lesbians.
-hxc scene kids have many piercings, mostly septum, bridge and snakebites.
-Bring me the horizon, hadouken!, Jeffree star ectt = scene bands.
-wears nikes, vans or sometimes converse.
-Indie, emo and scene are all very similiar.
-talks in text language.

the scenester "theme" is about looking the part of a certain group, but not focusing on the main part of it.They are often looked down upon by the "emo" community, often seen as "posers."
While some scenesters call themselves emo, other scenesters pride themselve in not taking part in some of the "emolike" activities.
such as cutting, and writing poetry.
Scenester is mostly about fashion.
Most scenester clothing is found at hot topic
But other scenesters will buy normal chlothing and modify it by sewing or pinning.
While the fashion part plays a big role, there is also a sort of attitude and habits that will grow on it's own when being around scenesters for a while.
You may start complaining about people who try and be scenester only when they go to concerts.
note:alot of senesters i have been introduced to hate it when people try and capture the scenester look,only to go to concerts.

and i know through that whole thing scene kids are trying to defend themselves, but it makes you seem like even more of a stuck up bitch than previously assumed.
To me a scene kid is (generally..not always) some suburban kid pretending to be emo, but in actuallity their biggest problem is that they have no ACTUAL problems.
they think they're about the music, but they're not. they're about looking cool by pretending to be into the style of music that is "cool." they're all about fashion and criticize those who don't have the right style. they pretend to like hardcore/punk music. but if that were the case they wouldn't give two shits about what anyone else was wearing, that's what true punk rock is all about. it's a pathetic attempt at nonconformity, but they are just completely ruining the concept. it's not anarchy if EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING IT. they tend to love bands like paramore, escape the fate, boyslikegirls, panic! at the disco, fall out boy..etc etc and they think these bands are punk. i will admit that these are good bands, but they are far from punk..or hardcore.
i suggest every proud scene kid listen to Admit It!!! by Say Anything. It's about you. They're making fun of YOU.

Get the scene kids mug.Concited snobs!! They are into alot of fashion. They dress in lace, seven jeans, shop atexpress, etc. Most of the time they look like they walked out of Urban Outfitters. Have their hair cut choppy, and messy. They dont listen to much hardcore, but lots of indie such as BRIGHT EYES and such. They think they are the best thing that ever walked on earth, and have so sence of humor nor do they have good personalities. They dont like to associate with others, and get caught up in their own world.And they also Type weird.
