Not necessarily intelligent, but always try to be or act like they are smart. Their presence can be signaled by a motion similar to that of frying French Fries at McDonalds. There are many varieties, including "Stir Fried," "Sizzlahs" and "Crusties," all with varying ethinicities and oiliness.
