A work bae is someone who is your coworker who is also your bae but strictly at work ONLY. This term can also be associated with "side chick" or "side nigga" but only in the work place. A work bae is prohibited to taking it outside of work. If he or she does so, I strongly advise you find a new work bae in order to keep your outside-of-work bae.

"hey victoria, i thought you had a girlfriend?"
"yeah i do. he's just my work bae"
