The exact same thing as nihilism.

both deny any true reason to persevere.

both say that we're a little inferior piece of stardust without a purpose other than eat, poop, and reproduce.

Both are often associated with hedonism and egoism.

Neither offer any reason to live.

"Welp, I'm an atheist. I believe in Atheism. I'm nothing but a little insignificant spec. I might as well kill myself and it won't really matter, other than the fact that other little insignificant specs will be sad for a little while. but why does it matter?!"

Atheist

Someone who lacks faith in religion. There’s nothing more to it, they didn’t piss in your cheerios, they aren’t gonna murder your family, they don’t go into their basement every Sunday to do satanic rituals. The average atheist lacks faith until proven wrong, but that really loud, really outspoken group of Atheist who will turn away an offer if it’s from a religious person but then also carry on for hours about Astrology.

Person 1: Ay you coming to **insert place of religious worship** today?
Person 2: Nah, I’m an Atheist.

Athesplaining

Athesplaining is a derogatory term that describes when an anthiest explains something to a christian in a condescending, patronizing, or overconfident way, often assuming the christian lacks knowledge or is stupid. It can also involve interrupting the christian while she or he is talking. The term is a combination of the words "atheist" and "explaining".

The atheist did a great deal of athesplaining on his social media account when Christians worldwide were offended by the depiction of “The Lord’s Supper” during the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Atheosity

The state of being an atheist.

Dude, there is no ism in atheism. The suffix misleads people into thinking that there's an ideology contained in the ism. That's why I prefer the term Atheosity: the state of being an atheist. An atheist is someone who does not believe in any gods, or rejects or denies the existence of any gods, or the supernatural.
