When someone leads you on and gives you the illusion that there is a relationship to be had but they never feel the same way. Sometimes they are very direct with you, sometimes they are not, could leave mixed signals. They lead you on for the longest time knowing what you want and they never give it you, essentially wasting your time in the long run.
