Tidal Wave is an unrated 2.1 solo Extreme Demon created by OniLink and verified by Zoink on 9 September 2023 after 49,534 attempts.1 It is notable for its three-minute length, wave-based gameplay style similar to that of a Nine Circles level, its uniquely bright summer/beach theme and 200 frame-perfect timings,2 more than double of any preceding Demon level. Tidal Wave received a generally positive reception from the community, with praise for its unique theme and length but criticism for its high object count. OniLink had optimised the decoration from around 303,000 objects to 255,366 objects. Tidal Wave is set to place at #1 on the Demonlist, surpassing Acheron

A ban wave is a large scale event (usually gaming related), in which certain parties/accounts get permanently barred from services, for major disruptions. An event like this will usually occur as retaliation against those who are unable to play the game normally, and resort to cheating and using cheating clients.
Runescapes ban wave:
Bot Nuke Day (Project named ClusterFlutter) was aimed to destroy most of the macros (bots) in-game. While this has been extremely effective (eliminating approximately 98% of the bots in-game), around 2% of the bots still remain, and Jagex is working on creating a second Bot Nuke, codenamed Optimus. Unfortunately, ClusterFlutterer has caused FPS lag issues and a few bugs for some players.

A common bullying practice in World of Warcraft. Being waved at by a higher level player is a sign that they want you to wave back. If you do, you are their bitch. If you don't, you die.
Me: /wave
Noob1: Hey that lvl 60 is waving at us.

The wave given by a driver who just cut in ahead of you in traffic or knowingly did something that is completely wrong on the road.
I was about to make a turn when this dude comes speeding by almost hitting me. He stopped at the last second and gave me a guilt wave.
