snipe train

A lot of people responding in a group text at the same time, resulting in a line of messages posted at the same time. The two-person verb for this phenomenon is sniping.

When someone asked a question about nearby locations, many of the people who responded became slightly confused as their message got lost in the snipe train of answers.
