The act of using orphans as fuel in a furnace.

Man 1: I'm really cold and have a bunch of spare orphans.
Man 2: Perhaps we should try chorting them. It'd warm the whole room up.

To say that something is about to happen, then it doesn't. Specifically in sales, to say that you are about to get a deal, but then the deal never actually happens.

"This guy is about to sign up, big deal coming through, $5k+, excited for this one"
... nothing happens by end of day....never mentioned again
"Man, you really Chotas'ed that one"
