Bones Jackson

Bad-ass character from the video game "Mutant League Football" and also "Mutant League Hockey." His name is a take off from Football/Baseball all-star Bo Jackson. It's also a killer indie band from Kelowna, B.C., one of the cutting-edge bands in the new "Freak Rock" genre.
"Dude, did you see the drummer from Bones Jackson? He plays like he's on speed!"

"Man, how about their lead singer, he wails like 1990s era Axl Rose."

Bones Gate

Chemically sedated and laid-back, Bones Gate enjoys a good bake, which probably accounts for their at-times tempestuous relationship with the administration. BG has a reputation for dabbling in harder substances, perhaps contributing to their generally apathetic (in a good way) reputation. Don’t be fooled by their chill vibes, as the brothers of BG are known for their ironic approach to Greek life: one of their signature house chants is simply “F–k BG.” They’re known for their live bands—usually jam, funk, or DJs—and their signature drink, Cutter. Rumor has it BG has replaced their insulation with remnants of a solid night’s inhalation.

Dinner the other night was bones and all.

That Steelers game the other day was okay at the beginning, but was bones and all the rest of the way.

bones and tones

An acronym for trombones and baritones. Often used to refer to the low brass section for when things need fixed or sectional. Also slang for refering to others in their section. Usually used when the trombones and baritones are so much alike you can't tell who really goes in which section so they just combine them together to make it easier for everyone.
"Bones and tones, run that last measure and don't mess up that hight A"

Person A:"What section are you in?"
Person B:"The bones and tones of course."
