Station Wagon Rich

Very specific flex by old money, especially those in academic circles. The wagon can be Volvo, Mercedes, Audi, or BMW; the older, the better. It will be navy, black, silver, or British racing green. Every other car/suv is viewed as trashy or “new money”. The wagon driver goes out of their way not to display their wealth, not out of modesty, but because they know someone else will tell anyone who needs to know just how rich they are. Wagon is often passed down to child after decades of driving by original owner.
I knew when he mentioned having a Volvo, that he was Station Wagon Rich.

heavenly riches

Those 0%!$@#& "fake US currency" tracts that sarcastically needle, "Disappointed? You won't be disappointed if you give your life to Jesus Christ!", and usually only serve to invalidly guilt-trip the reader by giving him a false feeling of personal greed (just about **anyone** would likely wanna pick up an easy ten/hundred dollars if it is just lying around --- that's not a true sign of actual bona fide greed!) and cause him to resentfully turn away from religion all the more.
It may or may not be true that "good deeds may entitle me to heavenly riches", as this stupid fake-ten-dollar-bill tract states, but I'd rather just have da ten dollars, thank you very much!

Rich Watching

A phrase used to describe when low class or working class people watch Youtube/Instagram/TikTok stars and envy their rich lifestyles, not realizing that most of those stars came from wealth and had better opportunities because of nepotism. The idea of "becoming rich" doesn't exist in modern times, but "rich watching" has replaced this to make it easier for low and working class people to swallow reality.
"Did you see that new trend on Tiktok?"
"No, sorry, I don't like Rich Watching."

"Huh?"
"I'm not a fan of watching rich people live their rich lives. I need to focus on my own goals."
