A man who is unable to impose his will on other men, women, and ultimately his own children. Because he is unable to push around other men and aggressively pursue women, a tool works away his younger years while other men have sex/fun with his future wife. When he finally does marry, he is unable to properly pass his own personality on to his children, and is instead merely used by his wife for the fruit of his labor while she instills her own personality on them. In the case of male children, the lack of male personality will in turn make them tools.

Adhering to traditional Christian or Jewish morals guarantees that one will be a tool. See Friedrich Nietzche's "slave morality."

These other definitions of tool are FAR too simplistic.

a tool is a person generally named "oliver" or "hannah" or "james" or "sven" or "gareth"!!!!!! obtrusive, repulsive crappy bubble bursting stinky egoy people !!!!

tool bench

A total jerk- face, who is inconsiderate, entitled, and arrogant. Sometimes, but not always, completely aware of their actions, but simply doesn't care. Other times they are just oblivious and unknowingly narcissistic. Even more of a 'tool' than a tool. Most often a male, but a female can be a tool sometimes as well , though it is rare. (you will know these people when you see/hear them. They are easily described as a tool bench when that seems to be the only term, other than a swear, that comes to mind)

That guy is such a tool bench, He just pushed that little kid down in the sand and stole his volleyball to show off in front of some chick.
