“Feet, don't fail me now!” is an old expression that's usually said when someone is running away from peril- they do not want to slow down so that they will be trapped or caught, and are self-encouraging themselves to keep going. In the song, it's used more as an excuse to keep dancing and not get tired.

When a guy/girl fails at getting action or maintaining a relationship with a person, he/she won't find others as attractive as said person. The strength/length of fail goggles is dependent upon time and emotional attachment.
Guy - "I just don't find her that attractive."
Friend - "Dude, you just broke up, so you have the fail goggles on. She's a 10 and I know you'd normally agree with me."
