The Devin Effect

The Devin Effect is a term used in the League of Legends community given to a specific circumstance in which a game can be lost due to a disproportional amount of kills given to one player. Although a team can technically be ahead in kills, if the majority of the kills have been given to one specific champion, they will ultimately lose the game for the rest of the team due to the lack of spreading of gold, kills, assists, and resources. If said champion were to die during a team fight, the rest of the team would stand no chance against the opposing team.

Devin got all the kills during the first half of the game, so the rest of us were left at level 12 without upgraded boots and I began to reverse snowball. We lost the game because of the Devin Effect.

The "Adrian Effect" is a phenomenon when a somewhat overweight African American with an anime profile picture used in almost every form of media expects special treatment because they are "oppressed" and "bullied" by his/her peers despite no evidence of others doing so. while he expects special care and attention, he also is not hesitant to bully those who are pandering for his/her, "special needs"

Guy 1: Wow, Tyrone just beat up the special ed teacher assigned to him..
Guy 2: yeah, he must be suffering from, "The Adrian Effect"

When a Indy Game becomes successful, then the fanbase ruins it via Toxicity, Fan Fiction, NSFW Fan Art, ETC. Ruining the experience for new comers, casual players of the game, and annoying those who don’t play the game alike.

I loved playing Among Us and Undertale, before they succumbed to The FNAF Effect.

Listening to any songs or albums and thinking it's okay, but not good. Then playing it again and it starts to grow on you. (It can be used also in other situations)

Friend 1: Have you listened to that new 21 Savages album, I am> I was?
Friend 2: Yeah, but it wasn't that great.
(Few days later)
Friend 1: Do you mind listening to 21?
