A term used to describe a straight man, often white, who has done the
work to deconstruct toxic masculinity, but is still a bro. Their social environment consists of queer women, gay man, and other soft bros.
Visually soft bros appear identical to regular bros and can often be found wearing a Patagonia jacket,
short, and a cap. Unlike regular bros, they are well read, aren't assholes, and understand their privilege in society.
Just
like regular bros, soft bros can be found in taverns and dive bars, drinking beers all- day -long, imbibing bottomless mimosas during brunch, and enjoying cocktails before dinner on a weeknight. Though, they
will take pains to remind you
