Large Iron

A Large Iron is often found wandering round in claret and blue attire, looking and acting like a large Cockney.

Is often found raucously singing 'I'm forever blowing bubbles', telling people how West Ham won the 1966 World Cup and generally being an obnoxious sumbitch.

Often Large Irons will claim to support other clubs, notably Liverpool in their youth, and will always wear 'Mark Noble' shirts under their casual attire.

Extreme examples are found in the Lincoln area of the UK - possibly as far north as Manchester. Originates in the East End of London.

Ape Iron

Ape Iron is a very overused and versatile term and as such has many definitions:

(a) The salacious sexual act of having an absurdly sharp metal item inserted into any lower orifice

(b)Incredibly hairy junk, when the bush engulfs the penis whilst it is hard as iron

(c) A very hairy flamboyantly gay Canadian iron worker, resembles Cro-Magnum

(e) A very hardworking hippie that works in the Albertan Oil Sands

Non-Heme Iron

Iron which isn't as easily absorbed In the bloodstream as Heme Iron and is generally found in plant based foods such as lentils, nuts, seeds, beans, spinach and potatoes with skin. You may also find Non-Heme Iron in fortified breakfast cereals.

Non-Heme Iron doesn't absorb as easily as Heme Iron, so you're best off recieving your daily dose of Iron from meats (particularly red meat) if you're concerned with your daily Iron intake.
