Doing The Carl

The act of giving someone a fingerpoint with the thumbs pointing towards the ceiling, with either both of the hands or one of the hands. Free hand must remain on the hip, or both must be in the air saying a statement such as;

"I dont need on instructions, on how to rock!"

"You know cause I got that baby arm.. clutching an apple... hangin low.. you know what im talkin about.. down there..."

Also self-adjustment of the groin area is considered "Doing the Carl."

"Doing the Carl" was made famous by Carl Brutananadilewski the fictional character from Aqua Teen Hunger Force.

"So what happened when you went over the his house?"

"He was doing the carl."

"Figures."

A specific play pattern recognized in the toy industry wherein a child uses 2 objects to represent characters interacting - one characters is bobbed up and down and the other character is then bobbed up and down in alternate to represent conversation.

Doing the Bill

When one plays a first person shooter against others and needlessly creeps around corners, crouching or walking, thinking they are being sneaky. Usually followed by either getting shit all over, or pulling some miracle our of his/her's ass and shitting all over the other team.(Must be 3+ survivors on the other team for this to be considered a miracle)

Wow are you really crouching while going through a door? Crouching when YOU know THEY know your there does not make you invisible... Stop Doing the Bill and use some common sense

Doing a Boromir

Term used to describe when someone, usually a BAMF, takes multiple fatal wounds and keeps fighting and killing until they eventually die. Comes from Boromir of the Fellowship of the Ring when he is shot over and over again with arrows and still keeps killing urukhai until he dies from the wounds.
Not to be confused with a Generic Action Hero's ability to shrug off life threatening wounds like scratches (see Die Hard)

Doing the Cheno

The act of copying the distinctive vocal and acting style of popular Broadway performer Kristin Chenoweth. This may involve a quirky and/or squeaky character voice, playing a role as ditzy or flighty regardless of whether there is textual basis for such an interpretation, using the upper vocal range for comedic effect, etc. Young sopranos often resort to doing the Cheno out of inexperience, as an easy way to make an impact and sell a performance in the absence of the ability to interpret a role in a more mature fashion or to develop and apply the true potential of the soprano voice.

Thelma: Did you enjoy the local high school's production of Oklahoma! last weekend?
Louise: Yes, but the girl who played Laurey was weak. She just did the Cheno the whole time.

Drama Teacher: I'm so proud of the progress you have made as an actress since freshman year.
Senior: Thanks! I can't believe I used to think doing the Cheno was a strong choice!
