It's from the Latin root signum meaning mark or token and the word gently.

It means to type too gently and therefore don't press all the tokens.

Signature Shirt

A signature shirt or sig shirt or SS is a shirt that a person in a picture wears usually on purpose. This is sometimes a person's ow custom shirt but mostly it's not. These are usually validated by a myspace whore or a just a man/woman looking for a hot date. sometimes it cld be just a bikini top (hopefully only for a girl)

When a senior citizen reads all of the signs outloud to the driver of the vehicle.
Leads to a condition in the driver known as Billboardom.

I was driving mother to the doctor's and she insists on reading every sign and billboard to me.
I think she suffers from Signility.
