Yeet is used in many situations. from you throwing something that's useless to you replying yes to someone with excitement.

You're in school with a friend and she kindly offers you some soda, you seem to accept it but its empty, useless you reply with "THIS EMPTY, YEET!" and you throw it down the school hallway.
