Fashion Fomo

An expansion on the acronym fomo, fear of missing out. Fashion fomo is a need and/or want to be up to date with everything current and fashionable, ranging from but not limited to fashion, food, travel and luxury goods. A feeling of anxiety when not being first in or missing out on an item, bargain, place or event.

Being late the warehouse sale of your favourite brand, and missing out on all of the items in your size at half price, if you're now wishing you were a size 18 just to buy that amazing dress left hanging on the rack, you have a serious case of fashion fomo.

Y2K Fashion

Fashion that was popular from 1997 to 2006-2007. Some examples are: Low-Rise Jeans, Tube Tops, Crop Tops and Cropped Jackets, Denim.. Lots of denim, Juicy Couture, etc. Commonly associated with people like Britney Spears, Destiny's Child, Paris Hilton, etc.

Gambler’s Old Fashioned

Intentionally getting an old fashioned (hand job) in risky situations and places where the likelihood of being caught is extremely high and risky. The thrill of gambling with getting caught combined with the physical pleasure of a vigorous handy is intoxicating.

Rachel was picking out bananas with one hand and giving me a gambler’s old fashioned with the other in the produce isle at the Walmart.

I shot my custard all over the blackboard in class just before the bell. That gambler’s old fashioned is incredible.

I’m pretty sure the drive thru chick at Starbucks realized I was getting a gambler’s old fashioned when Rachel was ordering a vanilla latte.
