STD is an acronym which stands for ‘share the doc.’ The term STD is most commonly used when requesting for someone to share their work with you or when two or more people are working on a collaborative task.

History:
The term std originated in the 09HIH2 class in 2017AD from two students named Joseph and Thomas. Since that year, the acronym std has grown everincreasingly common and it has now become a household term in all faculties of work or education.

Example 1:
Thomas: hey Joseph, can you std with me?
Joseph: sure thing.

Example 2:
Teacher: okay everyone, this is a collaborative task, so make sure you std with your partner.
