A condition where you act American, think Western, vote Conservative, feel betrayed by Ottawa… and then whisper, “But I’m a real Canadian” while polishing your rifle next to a maple leaf flag and a framed copy of the Charter.
"He’s got a lifted truck, a ‘Don’t Tread on Me’ bumper sticker, won’t shut up about Wexit, but still cries over Tim Hortons commercials — textbook Confederate Canuck Complex (CCC)."

(confederate must be with a capital C): an American judge/prosecutor/ law enforcement official who more likely send a violent criminal to a goulag work camp than to the big house or condemned row
in order to rid Chicago of crime Rahm Emanuel shouldn't ask the U.N. for help , he should hire a Marshall Zhukov or another goulag Confederate.

The "Prototype" United States Constitution. They were made because America wanted to be the polar opposite of England. They soon realized that was a horrible idea.
The Articles of Confederation made the federal government so neutered and inconsequential that they may as well not have existed. They could not tax, enforce laws (there was no president until 1789), or really do much of anything. The "United States" was more like "The Thirteen Very, Very Divided Independent Countries." England passed the popcorn as America floundered like a fish out of water, before an event known as "Shays' Rebellion" gave everyone a massive reality check.
