When referring to a person, it means “boy” in slang. Boa is often used in an endearing way. Meant for someone you are close to or have some type of friendly bond with. Boi is also another slang word for boy, but it is not used in the same way. Often, it is used for comedic effect. Boa and boi can both be used to say “boy”.
