Really and truely a goth is someone who wants to be different and not follow the crowd..and it doesn't matter if someone looks at you because you look different and have on dark eyeliner and are listening to deathstar asembly....but then agian goths don't really like to call themselves goths because that's not what we really are we are followers on the night....and to clear things up Vampire goths really don't like to drink blood and are usually not into Satanism I'm a wiccan....I do get blood cravings but they usually go away after a little while...

Mall Goth

Shops and hangs out at Hot Topic and looks more Emo than Goth, wearing a lot of red and vapes/smokes weed.

Gets mad at “posers” when they themselves are a poser that has only heard of the Gothic Bands Joy Division and The Cure; doesn’t know Gothic Terminology and misuses it a lot/calls Metal music Goth.

Posts about their horrible “disorders” that they developed for attention. Actually listens to a lot of Panic! At The Disco. Has only one Gothic Go-To Outfit.

Has a stuck up Gother-Than-Thou attitude, and relies on others to do their bidding since they can’t handle actual conflict.

When makeup is worn, they either overdo it or do it horribly, the same for their teased hair.

“I saw this Goth at the Mall a couple weeks in a row wearing the same Joy Division shirt and black ripped jeans. They might be a Mall Goth.”

A goth is commonly known as a person or people who dress all in black, listen to death metal, are depressed all the time, and talk about commiting suicide.
Yet this is just a stereotype. Goths are friendly people, who will asociate with anyone, no matter what "genre" they are.

Goth

Goth and Emo are basically the same thing. There are the posers and the real ones. The posers will completely conform to the stereotype because they think it is cool. They will dress in a fashion of what they see depicted on the internet. The real ones will just create their own style because they don't like conformism. They see beauty in the darker side of life. What is a rose without thorns?

A person of average or ugly appearance that attempts to draw attention to themselves by dressing in all black and/or doing their make-up badly. This goes for males and females. Males with black nail polish are especially needy bc why else would you want to wear such an ugly color on ur hands? Males and females usually have oddly colored hair that makes you wonder if they meant it to look like it got stuck in a cotton candy maker. Also, they listen to music in which you cannot understand any of the words over the loud and pathetic guitars in the background. They say they frown upon social norms when all they really want is to be like the rest of society, but they fear they will be rejected, therefore they are social hermits that form fragile friendships in which drugs and sex are their biggest links to each other.

I've never seen a pretty goth.
