We preps are members of the social elite and upper class in our communities and like obviously go to private schools. We only wear upper label brands and never wear any low level brands you'd find at like a discount store. Typically we (mainly I) wear Burberry, Lacoste, Gucci, Prada, D&G, Lily Pulitzer, Dior, Louis Vuittion, etc. We preppy guys have extensive watch collections, consisiting of Rolexs, Jacob and Co. watches, Piaget, etc. and jewelry collections from stores such as Cartier. We do live in large houses, mainly on the water, and go out boating with our friends. We only wear jeans/pants that cost at least $150-$200 and only shop at Neimans and Saks. At 16, we get our cars, mainly Mercedes, Beamers, Cadillacs, etc. We all have credit cards and go shopping at least 5 times a week and spend a minimum of $300. We have a hard life but we find a way to live it.
"Omg I just found out the shirt I'm wearing went on sale..."
"I guess you should probably throw it out or burn it...don't give it to charity though otherwise you definately won't be considered a prep."

Stoner prep is the word to describe how young “rappers” that got famous out of nowhere dress.
These type of clothes look kinda trashy like they woke up and just threw on whatever they could find (sometimes they look down right insane and over the top) while at the same time costing a lot of money.
The type of people that wear these clothes are usually young “rappers” with lil at the beginning of their names. (Sometimes one hit wonders).

Bill: hey bob I like that sweater but is it supposed to have all those rips in it?
Lil bob: hell yeah don’t you understand fashion? And it only costed me $1000.
Bill: oh bob, you’re such a stoner prep.

The "popular" group or "clique" in high school who was distinct from jocks (though they were closely associated with them). Some were involved in student government and clubs, which gave them even more social leverage. They usually wore unobtrusive outfits that blended easily into the crowd, such as polos with shorts or t-shirts with jeans. Their music tastes were usually mainstream and uncontroversial (stuff you'd hear on the radio). They usually all congregated in one place. Essentially, they weren't so much a subculture in itself but rather functioned more as an "absence of subculture," which is what gave them broad mainstream appeal.
