Pounding the bot

The excessive and repeated use of AI to solve a single task, although it can also be used more generally.

It mainly refers to giving the AI a task, and then feeding it it's own output (either unchanged or with minor tweaks) with a reason for why it's wrong. It's primarily done by IT/programming students.

You: Hey, i coded X for task #5 but Y doesn't work, it gives me an error "001", fix it
AI: Here is a version with a part of Y replaced
You: Here is X with the Y replaced, now it gives me error "002", fix it...

A: Hey, how is the coding homework going?
B: Not great, i got stuck at the task #5 for 6 hours. I eventually solved it by pounding the bot until it gave me something usable.

rt bot

rt bot or retweet bot is a term used on the social media platform twitter (or now known as X)
it means when a user is mainly retweeting other posts, rather than posting their own tweets etc.
these accounts barely interact with others or not at all, and simply uses twitter to retweet their favourites.
rt bots dont necessarily mean a bot, it could just be a regular person.

twitter user #1: hey this account followed me but all they do is retweet stuff
twitter user #2: oh yeah, that's a RT bot

Botting Out

When somebody acts like an npc in a regular situation.

In the club when a guy just stands there floating not talking to anybody, you would say he is botting out.

Baldoni bot

Named after Justin Baldoni. A Baldoni bot is a fake account used on social media to try to undermine the misogyny a woman endures after outing an abuser. Similar to the bots created in the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard trial to influence the jury.

“Don’t respond to that comment, it’s another Baldoni bot.”

Efficiency Bot

Someone who whines about efficiency and/or metrics all the time but barely does anything to actually fix it.

Vacation bot: “We call them Efficiency Bot but their full name is Corporate Efficiency Blockchain Database Metrics Champion Bot. What’s efficient about that?”

Or

Person A: “The metrics just keep getting worse!”
Person B: “Dude you’re such an Efficiency Bot. If you want the metrics to improve then start working instead of whining all day.”

A grown, often married, man who responds to Sex Bots on Social Media. Invariably, these men also post about family values, how society is going to the dogs and Christianity. They also tend to be quite focussed on grooming gangs whilst not realising that they are being groomed by a Bot Farm in Russia operated by 21 stone bald guy.

Bot Nonces also seem quite focussed on grooming gangs whilst simultaneously being entirely unaware of the fact that they are being groomed by Sex Bots based in a bot farm in Russia and operated by a 21 stone bald guy.
