the choice of a driving speed that matches nearly exactly the vehicle in the adjacent lane, not out of any sense of intentionality, but rather as a result of the use of cruise control, or sheer ignorance of ones surroundings.

Sorry I'm late, there were two boneheads driving at stupid speed for 3 miles on the parkway, and I couldn't get around them. 5 minutes of false hope that one of them would grow a brain.
