(1) A man who likes the attention from other men.
(2) a man whom women expect to give them attention when they are alone and need company especially to compliment them excessively and critique their fashion downfalls and give them advice.
(3) a man that can be their best friend without his sexual attraction toward you, yet secretly crush on them for the chase value.

Omg! There’s a gay guy! I’m gunna go talk to him for fashion advice, a best friend, and he will make me look desired in public.

Harmful term for the lgbtq+ community that is used to signify that a person that identifies as gay or lesbian had never had sex with the other gender.
The term is considered harmful by members of the community for some of the following reasons (list not exclusive):
It shames people that were not identifying with that one term from the beginning on, making them feel less.
It pushes the stereotype of having to know you were gay or lesbian since forever, not allowing people to have space in order to experiment with their sexuality.
It creates this "elite" of people that were always aware they were gay/lesbian.
It takes away from experiences that closeted and scared lgbtq+ people had, trying to fit in by being with the opposite sex.
