This stands for "WP", which in turn stands for West Port, as in West Port High School. Or it could be the "wp" in wolfpack, West Port's mascot. This term originated among the more ghetto students at the school in Ocala, Florida.

As opposed to "o/" which is a wave used simply as a greeting or a goodbye "p/" can mean that you are only popping in for a moment to say hello (as if leaning through a doorway) OR it can mean that this is your final goodbye (as if waving as you walk out of view through a door or past a corner).
