Pool Mom

Pool moms are moms at the pool, with or without their kids. You'll find them in the shallow end, perched on the side, or "graduated" to a lounge chair. Swimming demands energy, and that means a better night of sleep and a happier child; what mother doesn't want that? Wallowing in a situation that you created and could easily get yourself out of while also trying to make others miserable to make yourself feel better (trying to drag them into the pool as well).

Sam: Have you talked to Rick recently?
Tom: Not really, he's been even more of a jerk since his girlfriend broke up with him. Every time I try, he just makes me feel bad about something. I know he's upset, but he's just trying to make me feel to feel better about himself.
Sam: Sounds like he's swimming in a pool of his own piss and trying to drag you in.
