The "Law of Bockung" describes a mindset in which an individual seeks out only things that satisfy their immediate cravings and whims.

It has seen especially strong spread among german college students in recent years, even being nominated as "Youth Word of the Year" in 2021

Camping's Law

Named after Harold Camping, deceased evangelist and radio host. Camping's Law refers to the act of predicting an event and then pushing back the date perpetually until the event actually happens, proving you right.
The world didn't end in 2011, as predicted, so the date was pushed back to 2012. Camping's Law in effect.

Gurneys Law

In a group of friends a guy can only make a move on one female friend in that group. If it goes badly he can't try again or move onto a different friend in that group, its up to the woman to make any future moves after a guys uses his one chance. Women can do what they like as the supersede Gurneys law

Malloy's Law

When you post a poll (on Telegram, Slack, or any other platform that supports polls) someone will complain that their answer isn't represented in the poll (Even though it usually is, they just feel the need to be pedantic and irritating).
Jared posted a poll asking a yes or no question, and Clay complained that his answer wasn't represented... classic Malloy's Law.
