Wankers shortbread

A tradition where, upon a young lad’s awkward yet triumphant first solo adventure, his parents—presumably both proud and horrified—present him with a ceremonial piece of shortbread to mark his transition into a deeply confusing stage of life.

In the north of England this shortbread is often accompanied by some of the fathers custard.

Wanker

One of the go-to phrases of Billy Butcher from The Boys. It is used mostly when shit happens or Butcher wants to curse someone. In the third episode of the TV series, Butcher sends a gift to his bastard son Ryan, the word "Wanker" transformed from a vulgar curse into a secret only known between the father and son.
