Something you eat/drink for status such as French wine. No one actually likes it, as much as they say it's good.

During a social gathering, one leans over and whispers into friend's ear, "What's with this nasty-ass wine/rotten cheese?". Friend replys, "It has an aquired taste."

Average-tastic

(verbs) Anything that would be considered average by the people at My Life is Average. Typically things involving dinosaurs, ninjas, crayons, or zombies, or things along those lines.

I had a Disney coloring book, and I colored it all in. Then I ate some dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets. It was a pretty average-tastic afternoon.
