Apollo's Law

Any Internet discussion on a topic relating to Outer Space or Space Exploration which goes on for long enough will eventually lead to someone saying that Space exploration or Space itself is a lie/hoax.

This usually refers to Flat Earthers who don't believe that Outer space exists yet this isn't exclusive to them as some people do believe that space exists but that missions have only reached Earth orbit and not to the Moon or the other planets.

"Oh great, Another Flat Earther in the replies of a NASA tweet, Apollo's Law strikes again!"

Camping's Law

Named after Harold Camping, deceased evangelist and radio host. Camping's Law refers to the act of predicting an event and then pushing back the date perpetually until the event actually happens, proving you right.

The world didn't end in 2011, as predicted, so the date was pushed back to 2012. Camping's Law in effect.

If you decide you don’t want something you have, but then change your mind you lose your place and have to get back in dibs line.

Brandon stepped out but changed his mind. Dibs law states Becca now has dibs and Brandon gets back in line.

Malloy's Law

When you post a poll (on Telegram, Slack, or any other platform that supports polls) someone will complain that their answer isn't represented in the poll (Even though it usually is, they just feel the need to be pedantic and irritating).

Jared posted a poll asking a yes or no question, and Clay complained that his answer wasn't represented... classic Malloy's Law.
