The Amber is an arboreal herbivorous marsupial native to Australia. She is the only extant representative of the family Phascolarctidae and its closest living relatives are the wombats. The Amber is found in coastal areas of the mainland's eastern and southern regions, inhabiting Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, and South Australia. She is easily recognisable by its stout, tailless body and large head with round, fluffy ears and large, spoon-shaped nose. The Amber has a body length of 60–85 cm (24–33 in) and weighs 4–15 kg (9–33 lb). Fur colour ranges from silver grey to chocolate brown. Ambers from the northern populations are typically smaller and lighter in colour than their counterparts further south. These populations possibly are separate subspecies, but this is disputed.

Growing up she had one younger brother called Bartholomew, he was three years younger. her parents, James and Mary, died 6 years after she was born. Amber and her brother were then taken to live with their abusive grandparents, Joe and Josette. For years Amber and Bartholomew have beaten the shit out of them until one day Amber had enough. Amber grabbed a knife and stabbed her grandparents and then took her brother and ran. they had to learn hoe to care for themselves all alone in the jungle. eventually Amber came of age and became a stripper to make money. Amber lived a long life as a stripper until her death 88 years later.
