Thebian

A male who's sexually and/or romantically attracted to other males. The gay male equivalent to lesbian.

The word derives it's meaning from the Sacred Band of Thebes. A section of the Theban army of ancient Greece, consisting entirely of gay men.

Thebians are only attracted to other men.

That guy's totally a thebian.

Furries and Therians

Furrie is a person who owns an anthrophomorphic (meaning: with human characteristics) animal character. Furries do not identify as animals whatsoever.

Therians on the other hand, believe that a part of their soul reasonates with an animal (most commonly wolf, fox, cat, dog,..) and therefore identify as that animal.

Furries and Therians are not the same.

Furries and Therians are taking over the conventions these days.
