I have a friend named Ricky and my dads name is Richard but he prefers Ricky.
A while back my dad said how do you know when you found the one Son….. as a gay man I didn’t know until I called my dad to talk about my Friend Ricky.
Ricky makes me smile, Ricky makes me laugh, Ricky can be irritating, but it’s just another thing I’m learning to Love about Ricky. Ricky doesn’t judge and Ricky doesn’t Shy away from the arguments or bad stuff about me in particular. So dad I guess I can tell you I found the one when I can make a joke about him having your name…..
