there are two types of jealousy the good (normal jealousy) and bad jealousy; the good person jealousy comes from impulse such a normal things like fear of loosing a significant other/your parents giving more attention to your siblings; the evil type of jealousy comes from seeing someone doing better than you, having that bother them wanting to make you look bad to make themselves look good. This bad type of jealousy does not cause this person pain instead it is coming from a place where they do not like the fact that you are doing better than them , this is why bad type jealous people say, "im better than you," it is different however if it comes from a victim being hurt; that is different. The sad part is is that the evil jealousy is considered normal and that it is unidentified and it causes people to empathize with them when thats not actually the case. there should be a new word for this, "custom" this should a slang word for evil jealousy.

People tend to use jealousy to reduce other people's motivations to a single point. It's not something I deal with. I don't really care if people have more than me. OTHER PEOPLE, on the other hand, care a great deal if others have more than me. They tent to care more about how little I have than I do. I live a humble life. I don't like spending money. I don't like needing money but I'm thirsty and hungry and bored all of the time so I don't really have a choice. And that's kind of the point of all this. It's the implication that I have something to be jealous about. So and so made a million dollars acting in a movie I consider objectively bad. So and so sang a song that I find annoying and not they are on my phone and in my head. So and so sleeps with all of the woman they interact with. I don't think these are things to be jealous about but if I am in a disagreement with someone they will weaponize my lack things against me. The world tends to reward competence just as much as is does ineptitude. The inverse can also be true. I don't care what people have. I just want them to make my life less difficult. I don't think success justifies itself. I don't think people deserve the things they have just because they managed to aquire said things in a way that I could not.

Jealousy. We’ve all experienced it. Jealousy can be defined as the vigilant maintaining or guarding of something. Jealousy has a bad rap but it’s normal to want to guard the people we love, especially when we see a potential rival cozying up to our significant other. But there’s a difference between feeling jealous and exhibiting unhealthy jealous behaviors.

Jealousy doesn’t become a problem until it’s acted on. People that are prone to intense jealousy or possessiveness often harbor feelings of inadequacy or inferiority and have a tendency to compare themselves to others. Jealousy, at its core, is a byproduct of fear, fear of not being good enough, fear of loss. When it hits, it can trick us into believing our relationship is in immediate danger, making it impossible to distinguish between natural feelings of protectiveness and irrational suspicion.
