A friend is a person you can trust, a caring, loving, and brave person. They are willing to risk their lives to safe yours in a instant. They are always there if you need to cry on a shoulder and they stay by your side no matter what. I was once told by a friend, "When we grow old and we become distant, we will always be there for each other, still. If you call me from Paris, France and you need my help, I will fly a million miles to get to you, because that if what friends do." I still wonder if what she said will always be true. I have lost a lot of "friends" but I will never lose my true friend. The person that is always there for me. Everyone deserves a true friend.

A friend is someone you like and who likes you, someone you respect and who respects you, someone whom you trust and who trusts you. A friend is honest. A friend is loyal. Friends will motivate you to succeed in anything that will benefit you.

A person who would never intentionally hurt you, lie to you, deceive you, manipulate you, bitch about you or abuse you.

A friend is someone you can tell your deepest darkest secret to and you’ll know that they won’t tell anyone. Friends don't gossip about you nor try to ruin your reputation.

A mythical creature thought to be all around you, everyday, but in reality, they are mistaken for backstabbers.

If you get the chance to find one of those mythical creatures known as real friends, you are one lucky person.
