A profound and irrational fear or aversion toward women, often so intense that it leads observers to question the individual's own gender identity or expression. While not officially recognized in clinical psychology, katsophobia is used colloquially to describe extreme discomfort or avoidance of women in social, professional, or personal contexts.

His consistent refusal to engage with any woman in conversation led some to suspect he was suffering from a severe case of katsophobia.
