courtesy jig

A brief stupor in which two people are walking directly toward each other. Both patrons attempt to move out of the way of each other but instead, consistently move IN the way of each other. This can last as long as one cycle to about three, at the end of the third cycle both performing the jig feel a strong yet temporary connection with each other and mysteriously predict which direction to go with 100% accuracy.
