Tends to ebb and flow in inverse proportion to the worldwide supply of natural rubber --- the more latex that's available for making condoms, the lower the syphilization, and vice-versa.

I hear that they're gonna be hoarding more of the available rubber for making tires this year, so I expect to see an uptick in the siphilization.
