Loser Date

A loser date is what happens when you try to organize a group event, with lots of people. The hype is there for the week or so building up, everyone is keen. The day finally rolls around but no one ends up coming apart from two people, those two who actually turn up are therefore on a loser date.

You know how I was totally excited about the 'drunk croquet'event everyone from work was going to this Friday?

Well turns out nobody actually came because they were too broke and lame, it ended up just being Allan and myself going on a loser date but it was STILL AWESOME.

A loser is someone who sucks at their sport, activity or hobby of choice. Generally, a loser will lose in the activity they are participating in. A loser is also someone lame or "uncool". In that sense, calling someone a loser would be saying they lost at life (because their life sucks).
