You cannot just use a regular fart because the 98.6 degree air will not qualify. It needs to be enhanced by the acidity of spicy food making it “seem hotter.” Also, consider the face that lids have weep holes for steam to escape that may take the edge off of your hot fart, this defeating the purpose. Consider slamming a whole nother pot on top of the fart pot as fast as you can. Could be alternatively known as a pan poot or a poot pot. Best of luck with your hot pot.
I left a hot pot on the stove at the community center, but I remembered later on that I used that glass lid with a weep hole, so you know it bled out. If it wasn’t for that, whoever cut the stove on next would have blown up a 3 foot fire ball! I hope that fire extinguisher in there still works…
