Someone who dresses a certain way (you know the emo look) to maintain a stereotype. People SHOULD be able to wear skinny legs and loads of eyeliner etc. without it being emo or posery, but now they cant because no one cant tell the difference between people who like tight jeans etc. and someone who wears them soley for a look. My advice, sacrifice wearing tight jeans etc., they dont look good anyway. If possible try to create your own look, or not even a look, just be a person with clothes on, FUCK what people think. "Fuck what people think? Your saying to not wear certain things so people wont have an opinion. Thats what YOU think. Are you not a person?" I hear you say? Well if you dont care what people think you wont TRY to wear emo things and believe your unique. Having THAT hairstyle and being 'emotional' doesnt make you unique people. If you are trying to do that you are only getting sucked into this whirlpool of bullshit

Emo 

Pretty much a watered-down version of Goth. They wallow in self-pity, and overreact over everything. They tend to wear tight-fitted pants, scarves, eyeliner(yes, even if they're guys)and they flip their hair to cover up half of they're face. The guys look like girls, and the girls look like guys.

Girl #1: Wow, look at Jessica. She looks so sad.
Girl #2: Yeah I know, I think she's emo.

Emo 

A genre of music meaning "Emotional" that has recently turned into a style. The style consists of darker colors, band tees, razored, straight hairstyles, heavy eyeliner, converse/vans/osiris' and ripped jeans.
A teenager labeled "emo" is not the same as one labeled "scene." Scene is a brightly colored- teased hair- 80's sort of style.
Cutting is a common misconception of the emo style. Cutting comes along with depression, not a style. There are those who cut for attention or think they have to in order to be emo (which is not true.) It is considered offensive to those who cut for medical reasons when it's made fun of relating to emo kids.
The music listened to by a typical emo kid is usually metal-/death-/crabcore, "screamo," post-hardcore and punk rock. It's not uncommon to find cute bands and singers like Stephen Jerzak or Owl City scattered between the metal bands on their iPods, and maybe even some Kid Cudi or Lil Wayne.

Emos are people that shop at hot topic, cut their selfs an talk about suicide because they don't have shit in life to be depressed enough to, or have big enough balls to really kill their selfs.

OR, Goths that find life easier to buy clothes with chains an straps already attached while still claiming to be a goth, they are just a subclass added to the hot topic scene.

OR, Punks, pretty much like hot topic goths

Emo meaning emotional is a new craze across the young 'uns! emos can be spotted by a greasy fringe, skinny jeans, hoodies and a general grunting distain for those around them. Emo gangs try to act depressed and generally buy a copy of marilyn mansuns greatest hits. They pretend to know everything about punk and rock (even though most of them weren't born when kurt cobain died)they wear t-shirts saying 'kurt cobain died for us' which in short is a pretencious pile of wank that's spread across our society! Don't get me wrong I appreciate that everybody has problems, and i am by no means a chav... (they're all scum and should be shot!)... but come on people. We are british, we do not parade around showing our emotions and slitting our wrists and acting depressed. We as a nation are supposed to have the stiff upper lip and generally repressed attitude to our feelings!

It needs no example just look at a group of depressive teens and you'll see the emo crowd.

A bunch of whiny, white, middle class teenagers. Can go on a week long emotional rollercoaster just because someone finished all the Coco Pops.
Emos normally tend to have a lot of msn/myspace friends. Do not be alarmed, it is not because theyre well liked, actually, emos manifest with other emos which creates this large whiny group of teenagers. Emos have long, greasy, unwashed hair, which is required to cover at least 2/3 of the face.
Emo music is commonly known as soft-cock punk, often containing seemingly-castrated emos singing in whiny high-pitched voices.
Found in corners, normally crying, the male emo attracts the female emo by either writing a soft-cock emo song containing droning guitar riffs or striking a conversation on how much life sucks. Characterised by the movement of their heads, as every 2 meters they walk they swing their heads in an attempt to stop their greasy hair sticking to their face.
If an emo is contemplating suicide by cutting his/her wrists, remember to remind him/her, it's down the road, not across the street.
Preferred killing method is disemowelment, do not decapitate, theyre just like roaches.
Preferred bait for emos are iPods or Chucks signed by Fallout Boy.
It is really very satisfying to punch an emo, try it some time.
If you ever see an emo walking the street, be sure to run him/her down with your car. The fewer the better.
